#CMT# #/CMT# The booster has an enclosure (2) containing a moving wall (22) dividing an inside of the enclosure into a working chamber (21) and a vacuum chamber (20). A piston (5) moves axially and is secured to the moving wall of the enclosure, and a three-way valve (4) is controlled by a plunger (3) that allows the working chamber to be connected to the vacuum chamber or to atmospheric air. An output rod (6) and a control rod (1) are passed through center of a reaction disk (7). #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a vehicle handbrake comprising a transmission cable or rod. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Brake booster for transmitting hand brake cable commands in a vehicle hand brake system. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The booster is easily utilized by any driver while retaining the features of the conventional hand brake system. The booster does not occupy a great deal of space.
