<p>A bone plate (10) for use in a surgical, in particular an osteotomy surgical procedure comprises a fixation portion (16) provided with at least one opening (22) adapted to receive a fastening device for fastening the fixation portion (16) to a bone (12) of a patient. A guiding portion (42, 44) of the bone plate (10) is provided with a guiding edge (46, 48) for guiding a bone cutting instrument (50) during the surgical procedure, wherein the guiding portion (42, 44) is removably connected to the fixation portion (16), and wherein the fixation portion (16) and/or the guiding portion (42, 44) has/have a size and shape which are customized based on anatomic data of the patient.</p> |
