PURPOSE: A cam inspection apparatus is provided to precisely inspect a cam by measuring the rotation angle of an inspection ball rolling along a spiral groove. CONSTITUTION: A cam inspection apparatus comprises a mounting unit(100), an inspection unit(200), a frame(300), a display(400) and a control unit. A cam(10) has a spiral groove(12) on the outer circumference and is placed and fixed on the mounting unit. When moving near the mounting unit, the inspection unit selectively inserts an inspection ball(B) into the spiral groove and then measures and inspects the processed state of the spiral groove. A frame supports the mounting unit and inspection unit. The display shows the processed state of the spiral groove measured by the inspection unit. The control unit controls the operations of the mounting unit, inspection unit and display.
