A traffic bollard 1 comprising a bollard 2 with a plurality of sides and a support frame 3 comprising a corresponding number of elongate members pivotally connected together at their ends, the support frame being connected to the bollard moulding at its lower end via which the bollard can be secured to a base. The frame may be a pressed or rolled angle section and may be secured either inside or outside of the bollard moulding. The moulding and the frame may be joined by rivets, such as pop-rivets, or by screws or bolts. The pivots between the elongate members may be bolts and locknuts which may be tightened so that the elongate members maintain shape when handled. |
