The spring (1) has a surface area (2) formed as a support or sliding surface that faces and interacts with a support or sliding surface of a to-be-supported vehicle part. The surface area is formed such that the surface area is molded under load parallel to the latter surface. The surface area has a convex shape and is curved towards the latter surface. The surface area has recesses (3) i.e. rectangular or circular openings, for receiving lubricants. The spring is formed as a rubber metal element.
