PURPOSE: A moxa cautery material using bulked bamboo powder and a method of manufacture thereof are provided, which improve combustibility and fire power and reduce smoke. CONSTITUTION: A moxa cautery material manufacturing method comprises: a step of crushing stem and leaf at the ratio of 10:1-2 in 50-100mesh and thermal or electromagnetic wave-drying the crushed material to moisture content of 10-20 %; a step of cutting the crushed material in the regular length using a cutter blade(29) of a rotating rod(28) operated by a motor; a step of aging the crushed material at 30-60 deg.C for 1-3 days; a step of molding in the bamboo moxa cautery.
