The trouble-free safety prosthesis joint has a brake unit (3) which is provided in a receiving space (111) and secured on a thigh connector device (2). A brake stirrup (4) is located in the receiving space. The brake stirrup has a first journal hole and a first securing section. The first securing section is provided with a third locking hole which is connected to the brake unit. A brake journal (5) extends through the journal hole and is secured on the below-knee connector device.
