PURPOSE: The present invention relates to a light sensing circuit and a flat panel display including the light sensing circuit, and more particularly, to a light sensing circuit for use in automatic brightness control and a flat panel display including the light sensing circuit. CONSTITUTION: A light sensing circuit comprising: a first sensing circuit generating a current according to incident light and an ambient temperature; and a second sensing circuit generating a current according to the ambient temperature, said second sensing circuit being shielded from the incident light, at least one of the first sensing circuit and the second sensing circuit comprising: a photodiode(100); an OP(operational) amplifier connected to the photodiode; and an analog-to-digital converter(ADC)(130) measuring a current generated in the photodiode and converting the current into a digital value.
