The present invention is to provide a DVD player with function of displaying multinational text type of subpictures simultaneously. In the DVD player, the hidden DVD multi-national subpictures are transformed into the text type of subpictures essentially by a text type of subpicture generation module. The video and the multi-national text type of subpictures are merged by a video subpicture composing unit and then are transmitted to a video output device to display the multi-national text type of subpicture in the DVD video on time so as to provide both effects of the video watching and the language learning.
