FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: silent block consists of two coaxially arranged cylinder bushings and of a flexible damping element installed between them in form of a bushing out of wire material preliminary pressed in a special press-mould. As a matrix for pressing the flexible damping element there are used external and internal bushings of the silent block proper. Several opposite arranged sesquialteral, triangle or evenly rounded grooves are made on internal cylinder surface of the external bushing and external cylinder surface of the internal bushing. Step ledges expanded upon pressing of wire material along radius towards each other are made on end surfaces of both bushings. The procedure of fabrication consists in winding wire spiral, in stretching it till a pitch equal to diametre of spiral, in dividing it to sections, in laying spirals into a mat, in forming a work piece and in its successive pressing in the press-mould. ^ EFFECT: producing silent block with upgraded damping characteristics, resource and bearing capacity and insensibility of characteristics to change of temperature. ^ 2 cl, 4 dwg |
