PURPOSE: A composition containing DPP-IV(Dipeptidyl Peptidase-IV) inhibition compound and other anti-diabetes or anti-obesity is provided to effectively suppress blood glucose. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating diabetes or obesity contains a compound of chemical formula 1, pharmaceutically acceptable salt, hydrate, or solvate thereof, and other anti-diabetes or anti-obesity drug as active ingredient. The compound of chemical formula 1 is DDP-IV(Dipeptidyl Peptidase-IV) inhibitor. The other anti-diabetes or anti-obesity drug is biguanide drug, insulin sensitizer, insulin secretagogue, alpha-glucosidase inhibitor, or cannabinoid receptor 1 antagonist. The biguanide drug is metformin, buformin, or phenformin. A pharmaceutical composition contains the compound of chemical formula 1, or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and biaguanide drug in a ratio of 9:1~1:3 based on ED30 value.
