PURPOSE: A semiconductor light emitting element, a manufacturing method thereof, and a light emitting device including the same are provided to offer the light emitting device for AC drive by including the semiconductor light emitting element with a plurality of serially connected light emitting structure. CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor light emitting device(100) comprises a light emitting structure(135), a second electrode(103), an electrode layer(160), and an insulation layer(150). N light emitting structures are serially connected. The second electrode is includes in at least one light emitting structure. The electrode layer is connected to at least one light emitting structure among n light emitting structures. The insulation layer insulates between adjacent light emitting structures.
