A COST MINIMIZATION SCHEME THROUGH DIFFERENTIAL ANTENNA PLACEMENT IN THE HEXAGONAL CLUSTER-BASED WIRELESS MESH NETWORKS

PURPOSE: A cost minimization scheme through differential antenna placement in hexagonal cluster-based wireless mesh networks is provided to arrange a hexagonal cluster having a regular structure efficiently. CONSTITUTION: A hexagonal shaped mesh cluster structure is designed, and the number of antennas installed in a wireless mesh router(102) of a mesh cluster(100) is determined. The determined antennas are differentially arranged. The various mesh clusters are arranged to constitute an entire network. The wireless mesh router installed in every hop based on a gateway(101) is multiplied 6 times.
