FIELD: weapons. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protection of combat armored vehicles (CAV) using throwers. Proposed method consists in affecting enemy personnel nearby or directly on CAV by onboard weapons including dynamic-type protection device (DPD) mounted on CAV. At least one operator of the crew initiates blasting of explosive of at least one element 4 of DPD directed towards enemy personnel 2. Proposed device comprises DPD suspended onto or built in CAV including elements 4 distributed over the armor area and directed in different directions. Every element 4 comprises explosive, explosive detonator, one or more throwing solid bodies and control of weapons 8 detection, weapons data processing and selective outputting of signals to aforesaid detonators of elements 4 directed towards weapons 8.
