PURPOSE: A process for preparing substituted benzamide derivatives is provided to prepare 4-amino-5-chloro-2-ethoxy-N-[[4-[(4-fluorophenyl)methyl]-2-morpholine]methyl]benzamide at high yield. CONSTITUTION: A process for preparing substituted benzamide derivatives of chemical formula 1 and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts comprises a step of performing substitution reaction of 4-amino-5-chloro-2-ethoxybenzoic acid alkyl ester of chemical formula 2 with 2-aminomethyl-4-(4-fluorophenyl)-fluorophenyl of chemical formula 3 in the presence of a solvent and base.
