APPARATUS FOR MEASURING CRITICAL CURRENT OF SUPERCONDUCTOR WIRE WITHOUT STABILIZER LAYER

PURPOSE: A critical current measurement apparatus without forming a stabilization layer is provided to prevent breakdown of a superconducting material due to joule heat when measuring a critical current of the superconducting material in a state where the stabilization layer is not formed. CONSTITUTION: A pair of current inducing units supports edges of both sides of a superconducting material. The current provided from the power supply unit is applied to the superconducting material. A current measuring unit(10) measures strength of the current applied from the power supply unit to the superconducting material. Voltage measuring units(41a, 41b) measure voltage between both ends of the superconducting material. A controller(60) measured the critical current of the superconducting material based on the current value and the voltage value at the current measurement area and voltage measurement part.
