The invention relates to electric engineering specifically to protection devices for equipment of electric network and electric power plants against atmospheric and temporary switching overvoltages. The overvoltage-protective device comprises a column of nonlinear varistors 3 placed in a protection polymeric covering 1, which has low and upper metal electrodes 2 at the ends, a limiter of bend and rotation of the device, dielectric fiberglass rods 5 which form a carcass encircling the column of nonlinear varistors 3 which are installed in openings of metal electrodes 2. Clamping washers 7 are installed between the column of nonlinear varistors 3 and low and upper metal electrodes 3, in the centers of the last ones spacing screws are installed. The column of nonlinear varistors is provided at least with one metal element 4 having trough openings, which is installed in the center thereof, its external diameter is equol to external diameter of the protection polymeric covering 1, a hight is from 0,5 to 1 of its diameter. |
