PURPOSE: A functional material manufacturing method using a slice stacking press method, and a functional material manufactured therefrom are provided to manufacture an anisotropic material or the functional material with a simple and economic press process. CONSTITUTION: A functional material(100) manufacturing method using a slice stacking press method comprises the following steps: manufacturing a mixed paste(10) by mixing powder formed with a functional material component and a binder; manufacturing a slice(30) by coating the mixed paste on a substrate(20) and separating the paste from the substrate; manufacturing multiple slices by repeating the previous step and laminating the slices into a mold(40); and pressing the laminated slice with a constant temperature and pressure.
