PURPOSE: A water gauge equipped with an insertion type backflow prevention apparatus is provided to implement a backflow prevention function with a simple connection method. CONSTITUTION: A water gauge is equipped with an insertion type backflow prevention apparatus. The backflow prevention apparatus comprises a housing which includes an inlet, an outlet(3), a front inclined surface, and a pair of seating spaces formed on the upper side of the inclined surface in which a rotary shaft of an opening and closing member is connected to the housing. A packing is connected to the rear side of the opening and closing member. A pair of guides are formed on both sides of the exterior of the housing and coupled with a guide portion(5) formed on the inner surface of the outlet, thereby preventing the rotation of the housing.
