METHOD FOR RESECTING CILIARY TUMOR OF MIDDLE AMPULLAR DIVISION OF RECTUM

A method for resecting the ciliary tumor of the middle ampullar division of rectum provides for the transanal dissection of the mucous-submucous sheath of the rectal wall around the peduncle of the tumor with the aid of diathermocoagulator. The dissection of the mucous-submucous sheath of the rectal wall and the suturing of the wound are performed step-by-step in proximal-distal direction.
