The invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, in particular to the ways of tempering articles, and can be used in steel production. A method for heat treatment of articles includes thermal cycling in electrolyte by the increase, which alternates with a lowering of electric potential between the article and the electrolyte. Electric potential is supplied by the streams of electrolyte from the electrode to the article, it is reduced at the radiation from the article surface, which corresponds to a temperature above the temperature of alloy phase transformations, and it is increased in radiation, which corresponds to a temperature of alloy below the temperature of phase transformations, and the number of reducing and increasing cycles of potential is repeated to the achievement of the required thickness of the heated layer of tempering is carried out by the disconnecting the increased potential at the radiation of the surface respective to the maximal temperature of alloy. The improvement of physical and mechanical properties of the surface of thermally processed articles is achieved, and full automation control of regime of strengthening and the article quality is provided. |
