METHOD FOR DETERMINATION OF STONE WORKABILITY

The invention relates to stone processing with grinding and can be used for determination of workability of stone. Method for determination of workability of stone prescribes processing of stone samples with diamond instrument with stabilized wear at constant specific force of pressing to sample under investigation. Technological productivity of grinding and workability of stone are evaluated by volume of sample wear at processing with grinding instrument with respect to volume of wear of reference stone. Workability of stone k is determined as k=Q/Qd, where Q– technological productivity of processing reference sample, Qd – technological productivity of processing of sample under investigation. As reference stone there can be marble onyx. Specific force of pressing can be 0.6 kPa and sliding pass – 1000 m. The invention promotes increase of accuracy of measurement of workability of stone at operations of grinding.
