The invention relates to area of geophysical investigations and is intended for determination of general porosity of loamy rocks. Method for determination of general porosity of loamy rocks in cased and not cased wells is in use of neutron-neutron logging (NK) for determination of volumetric hydrogen content of rocks (porosity by NK) and gamma-logging (GK) for account of clayiness of rocks. At that at determination of general porosity correction on clayiness by data of GK is used as multiplier at coefficient of porosity by NK without use of data on loamy minerals that are included into clays. Technical result of the invention is in increase of operation speed and accuracy of determination of general porosity of loamy rocks.
