PURPOSE: An image completion apparatus by structure prediction is provided to complete an image through predicted structure information in order to preserve the entire structure of the image, thereby recovering the image more naturally. CONSTITUTION: An image completion apparatus obtains border information if an image about remaining area except for a removal area. The image completion apparatus predicts structure information of the removal area through the border information(S1010). The image completion apparatus completes the predicted structure through the border information around the removal area(S1020). The image completion apparatus fills the removal area excepts the part of the predicted structure through texture synthesis(S1030).
