PURPOSE: The optical sheet and the backlight unit using this. It facilitates and the optical function control of the seat face domain is proceed authentically. The electro optic layer comprises the light-diffusing agent(5) and binder(6). The light-diffusing agent is coated to binder. The light-diffusing agent uniformly diffuses the light ray transmitting the light diffusion part. The light-diffusing agent uniformly moreover tightly forms the minute convex part on the surface of the light diffusion part. The minute convex part which is formed in the optical sheet surface can increase the light ray spread efficiency with the lens refraction action. The light diffusion part has the shape of the convex lens.
