PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and a method of providing a traffic information map using the same are provided to obtain various kinds of information related to traffic map and link the information with the traffic information map. CONSTITUTION: A memory(160) stores plural additional information and traffic information map, and a control unit(180) indicates the traffic information map on a display unit. If a specific point is selected in the traffic information map, the control unit combines the additional information with the certain point. The control unit displays indicates the certain point combined with the additional information discriminating from the other points included in the traffic information map.
