PURPOSE: A web operating system using a stereoscopic image generator and a method thereof are provided to use an image photographed by a general digital camera, thereby easily generating a stereoscopic image. CONSTITUTION: A client terminal(41) displays a stereoscopic image after generating the stereoscopic image. A web server(42) transmits plane images, a depth map and real measurement size information to a stereoscopic image generating server(43). The stereoscopic image generating server generates the depth map from the plane images. The stereoscopic image generating server stores the depth map in a database server.
