<p>The device has a rectangular frame (1) representing a format of a watercolor paper (4) to be realized. The frame has a U-shaped metal section with an opening for allowing insertion of an elastic round cord (3) to lock the paper on the contour of the frame by pressurizing the cord with the hand. The diameter of the cord is equal to the opening. The length of the section is equal to a perimeter of the watercolor paper. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a water color paper holding device.</p>
