PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and a method for controlling display thereof are provided to display an image projected on a projection region to an external screen through a projector module. CONSTITUTION: A projector module(155) displays a first image displayed on a first region to an external screen. A control unit(180) controls the projector module to display a second image and/or a third image on the external screen. In addition, the control unit controls the touch screen to display the second image and/or the third image on the first region.
