PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring ground settlement of whole section and a method thereof are provided to measure the amount of subsidence in different points at the same time by sensing pressure change amount of ground due to the subsidence. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring ground settlement of whole section includes a single water tank(20), a fluid tube(22), fluid, and a plurality of pressure sensors(26,28,30,32). The single water tank is fixed and installed on a location which has a constant height form the ground(21). The fluid is stored in the water tank. The fluid tube is connected to the water tank.
