METHOD OF ALLOCATING PAGING CARRIER

PURPOSE: A method of allocating a paging carrier is provided to allocate a paging carrier efficiently to a broadband wireless network. CONSTITUTION: A BS(Base Station) allocates a paging channel to a certain carrier among multiple carriers, and generates a paging carrier. The BS transmits a first message including the allocation information for the paging carrier(S410,S450). The first message is BCH(Broadcast Channel) or additional broadcast information. The first message is broadcasted to at least one MS.
