SYSTEM FOR MEASURING IMPULSE RESPONSE OF POWER LINE COMMUNICATION CHANNEL AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A system for measuring an impulse response of a power line communication channel and a method thereof is provided to stably operate a power line communication system by monitoring a impulse response quality accurately. CONSTITUTION: A signal transmitting part(110) generates a CAZAC(Constant Amplitude Zero Auto Correlation) sequence signal. A signal transmitting part modulates I channel signal of the created CAZAC sequence signal and each of Q channel signal by using a carrier signal. The modulated signal is inputted to a power line communications channel. A signal receiving part(120) detects the amplitude information and phase information of signal by using autocorrelation between the CAZAC sequence signal about I channel signal of the signal received from the power line communications channel and each of Q channel signal. The CAZAC sequence signal is a Frank-Zadoff-Chu sequence signal.
