PURPOSE: An ink jet printing apparatus is provided to restrict spread of ink by increasing drying speed of ink attached on a substrate, is discharged from an inkjet head, and to the entire processing time used for pattern formation. CONSTITUTION: An ink jet printing apparatus(100) includes an inkjet head(130), a plate(110), and a first heater. The inkjet head discharges ink(135) to a substrate(120). The plate supports a substrate. The first heater heats the ink on the substrate and is installed on the plate. A second heater heats the ink, and is installed around the plate. The drying speed of the ink is increased through the inkjet head.
