<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic clutch with a brake comprising a new function and improved in responsiveness in operation of the brake by surely preventing inertial rotation of a driven shaft after disconnecting the electromagnetic clutch. <P>SOLUTION: A brake means 9 is structured by always sliding a facing 93 with a brake friction surface 5d of a rotor by a spring 92 supported in a base end thereof by a field 8 through an arm 7. Strength of the brake torque Tb by the brake means 9 is set in a range from the sliding torque Ta between the driven shaft 2 and a driving shaft 1 or more to less than the driving torque Tc by the driving shaft 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
