PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of reducing eccentric abrasion of a shoulder land part, and especially ensuring reduction of anti-stone-biting property of a recess and water-discharge property on a wet road including mud or the like. SOLUTION: In the pneumatic tire, the shoulder land part 5 is divided at a tread side part by a circumferential groove 3 positioned farthest from a tread center of a tread surface 1 and continuously extending in a tread circumferential direction. A recess row in a tread circumferential direction is provided on a ground-contact end side of at least one shoulder land part 5, and at least a part of the recesses 8 is connected by thin grooves 9.
