<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the heat-radiation amount of an indoor heat exchanger from being decreased, in an air conditioner equipped with a refrigerant circuit for performing a steam compression type refrigerating cycle even if a compression stroke performed by a compression mechanism is made to be closer to an isothermal compression stroke. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The refrigerant circuit (10) of the air conditioner (1) comprises a first oil separator (15) for separating refrigerating machine oil contained in high-pressure refrigerant after being discharged from a compressor (11) and heat-exchanged in the indoor heat exchanger (13) from the high-pressure refrigerant. The circuit is connected with an oil injection mechanism (2) for injecting the refrigerating machine oil separated by the first oil separator (15) to a compression chamber.
