<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electrolyzed water for hair treatment comprising alkaline electrolyzed water and acidic electrolyzed water generated from an electrolyzed water generation apparatus. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The electrolyzed water for hair treatment comprises alkaline electrolyzed water having a pH set at 9-11.5 and an ORP (Oxidation Reduction Potential) set at -400 mV or lower and acidic electrolyzed water having a pH set at 3-5.5 generated in the electrolyzed water generation apparatus, where the alkaline electrolyzed water is made to function as a pretreatment agent for cutting a salt bond of the hair at the time of a hair treatment such as permanent waving, hair-coloring, hair-caring or the like while the acidic electrolyzed water is made to function as a post-treatment agent for putting the hair back to an isoelectric point to facilitate re-forming of the salt bond.
