<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring the water leakage in a water channel, capable of measuring easily a water leakage amount from a concrete block for the water channel on site, and a water leakage amount from a joint material in a joint. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This method for measuring the water leakage in the water channel is joint-connected juxtaposedly with the large number of concrete blocks 1 for the water channel. A covering body 5 provided with a water supply port 4 covering an inner wall face 2 to form a water supply clearance 3 in a space with respect to the inner wall face 2 is arranged in the inner wall face 2 of each concrete block 1 for the water channel, the covering body 5 is fixed onto the inner wall face 2 to bring the water supply clearance 3 into a water stop state, water is supplied from the water supply port 4 into the water-stopped water supply clearance 3, to stand for a prescribed time, and a water decrease amount is measured thereafter in the water supply clearance 3.
