<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for temporarily fitting a welding ring or the like capable of easily executing the temporary welding or the like of the welding ring to a ceramic container. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The device 1 for temporarily fitting the welding ring includes: a suction nozzle 100 having a negative pressure generating hole 104 which is connected to a negative pressure generator to generate the negative pressure, and capable of suction-holding one opposite side of a welding ring 30 by the negative pressure generating hole 104; a pair of welding rollers 122 which are arranged on both sides of the suction nozzle 100 and abutted on the other opposite side of the welding ring 30 to be held by the suction nozzle 100; an electrode side moving mechanism 140 for moving the welding rollers 122 in the sucking direction; a nozzle side moving mechanism 160 for moving the suction nozzle 100 in the sucking direction to the projecting state from the welding rollers 122; a welding electrode pushing device 170 for biasing the welding rollers 122 in the sucking direction; and a suction nozzle biasing device 180 for biasing the suction nozzle 100 in the sucking direction.
