<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine having a housing structure that can suppress vibration of the washing machine. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The washing machine includes a housing including a front face plate, a rear face plate opposed to the front face plate, and two side face plates extending between the front face plate and the rear face plate; and a washing tub held in a space surrounded by the front face plate, the rear face plate and the side face plates, and rotated around a rotation axis extending from the front face plate toward the rear face plate.
