PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aromatic composition capable of imparting an aroma having a highly lasting property to an object such as a fibrous product, etc., and a method for imparting the lasting aroma to the fibrous product. SOLUTION: This aromatic composition is provided by containing (a) cellulose fiber having ≤200 nm mean fiber diameter, and having 0.1 to 2.0 mmol/g carboxyl group content and (b) an aromatizing agent, and a method for imparting the lasting aroma to the fibrous product is provided by treating the fibrous product after its washing with the aromatic composition.
