PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device which is made thin, is excellent in arrangeability and designability, can inform a user that input is accepted by giving a proper sense of touch to the user, and is excellent in operability and to provide an imaging apparatus. SOLUTION: A sensor 2 is attached to a housing 1, to generate a detection signal corresponding to a pressing force. The pressing force is determined from the detection signal generated from the sensor 2, an operation signal corresponding to the determined pressing force is input and a multi-stage drive signal corresponding to the pressing force is supplied to an actuator 3 vibrating the housing 1.
