Disclosed is a vehicular control device comprising a travel control unit, an operation unit and an information inhibition unit.  The travel control unit executes a vehicle travel control for controlling the traveling state of a vehicle automatically irrespective of the operation of an accelerator pedal.  The operation unit executes a determining operation and an informing operation.  In the determining operation, whether or not the traveling state of the vehicle is excellent in energy efficiency is determined on the basis of the stroke of the accelerator pedal operation.  In the informing operation, the vehicle passenger is informed of the determination result of the determining operation.  The information inhibition unit inhibits the informing operation during the vehicle travel control.
