<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control device of a sewing machine which stops a needle with good accuracy while being inexpensive. <P>SOLUTION: In this motor control device of a sewing machine, the range of one rotation of a main shaft is classified into a stop phase range H6, a low-speed rotation range H1 in the forward rotating direction, a high-speed rotation range H2 in the forward rotating direction, a low-speed rotation range H5 in the reverse rotating direction, and a high-speed rotation range H4 in the reverse rotating direction. The device includes: two main shaft detecting means 13, 16 having optical elements turned on and off by a shield plate fixed to the main shaft; main shaft range determination parts 43, 45, which discriminate between four detecting states from a combination of ON-OFF outputs by the five angle ranges, and discriminate all of five ranges by a detecting state change when the main shaft is rotated; and a needle stop control part 45, which controls a sewing machine motor 11 to be rotated at a low speed when each low speed rotation range is detected as compared with that when each high speed rotation range is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
