<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a needle point protector which reliably protects a needle point with force as less as possible and stably maintains the needle point in the protected state. <P>SOLUTION: A protector body 66 includes bottom plates 68, 70 on the base end side and the front end side, a pair of deflectable side plates 72, and a pair of parallel side plates 78. The protector is configured in such a manner that the pair of the deflectable side plates 72 are deflected and deformed by an acting ring 60 when the acting ring is moved forward to a predetermined position relative to the protector body 66, the point of a needle to which the protector body 66 is mounted is protected by a protecting section 92 provided to the front end, and the acting ring 60 is engaged to an engaging protrusion 99 provided on the bottom plate 70 on the front end side for preventing the acting ring 60 from coming out from the protector body 66. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
