PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smooth a dialogue between information equipment and a user.

SOLUTION: An image display/image detection device is provided with: a display/optical sensor 300 for displaying an image and detecting a nearby image; a specified coordinate detection part 12 for detecting a specified coordinate indicating a point ahead where an object on the display/optical sensor part 300 approaches on the basis of an image of the object detected by the display/optical sensor part 300; and an auxiliary image display control unit 13 which identifies an area on the display/optical sensor part 300 covered by the object on the basis of the image of the object detected by the display/optical sensor part 300 and displays an auxiliary image associated with the specified coordinate outside the identified area.
