<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press switch capable of preventing generation of irregular noises, while giving a user a moderate click touch and provide an electronic device equipped with this press switch. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An AV unit 2 is provided with a unit body 3 and a press switch 1. The press switch 1 is provided with a press member 15 arranged on a front face 3a of the unit body 3 in free rotation, a pair of switches 16 on which both end parts of the press member 15 are superimposed, and intermediate members 18 arranged between the both end parts of the press member 15 and the switches 16. The switches 16 have a pair of contacts 29a, 29b, conductive parts 33 which have conductive films 33a at positions superimposing the pair of the contacts 29a, 29b and on which the intermediate member 16 is superimposed, cylindrical parts 32 supporting the conductive parts 33 at the positions where the conductive films 33a are separated from the pair of the contacts 29a, 29b, and elastically deforming projections 34 which are formed in convex from faces 33b where the intermediate members 18 of the conductive parts 33 are superimposed and moreover energize the intermediate members 18 toward the both end parts of the press member 15.
