PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drinking dummy container installed in a display of a vending machine allowing the exchange of only a label. SOLUTION: The dummy container 1 comprises: a cover body 2 formed of a see-through resin plastic sheet copying a longitudinal half split shape of a drinking container that is a commodity; the label 3 disposed with a display face applied with the same display as the drinking container that is the commodity along the inner face of the cover body 2 so that the display face can be visually recognized from the outer face side of the cover body 2; and a label support member 4 for holding the label 3 disposed in this state so that the label can be detached. The label support member 4 is formed of an elastic plastic sheet, and a pair of split edges of sides of the cover body 2 are continuously connected with a pair of arm-like supports 7a, 7b having detachable connection parts 6a, 6b at tips thereof so that the supports can be bent.
