PURPOSE: A video server that improves image quality when monitoring an image in real time in a local network is provided to monitor an image with which a compression code and compensation code are combined in real time, thereby monitoring an image with high quality. CONSTITUTION: A video server(102) combines a compression image code(105) with a compensation image code(106) to configure image code data(107) about an image signal of a camera(101). Thevideo server confirms the network speed of a PC. If the speed is faster than fixed speed, the video server simultaneously transmitsthe compression code and the compensation code to the PC. If the speed is slower than the fixed speed, the video server transmits only the compression code. |
