SMALL BROADBAND ANTENNA

PURPOSE: A small broadband antenna is provided to obtain a bandwidth which is greater than a theoretical bandwidth boundary by electrically connecting two radiators each other. CONSTITUTION: A small broadband antenna comprises a ground plane(40), a feeding unit(30), a disk loading radiator(10), and a helix radiator(20). The disk loading radiator is made of a disc and a short-circuit pin. A disc is arranged on the ground plane. The short-circuit pin electrically interlinks the disc and the ground plane. The helix radiator is wound around the short-circuit pin. The feeding unit is electrically connected to the helix radiator. The feeding unit transfers the RF(Radio Frequency) energy from an external device to the helix radiator.
